Video Activity Monitoring and Response Service

Unlike Video Guard Patrols, the Video Activity Response Service entails video data being sent to the Video Monitoring Section (VMS) in our Central Station. This occurs when a camera detects a change in what it is looking at, or an alarm is received from a security system. This can be a person, vehicle, animal, sudden and sharp change in light, or many other things. When this occurs the camera sends video to the VMS and the Security Operator then determines what the activity is. From there we follow the instructions set forth by you.

Video Activity Service is normally used in outdoor situations, where it is not practical, or too costly, to assign a full-time Security Officer. Some of these would be automobile dealership outside lots, construction sites and equipment, storage yards and areas and many other locations that have outdoor exposure. Since most video systems include 2-way voice capabilities, the Security Operator is able to talk with, challenge and possibly clear persons that are detected.

The cost for this service depends upon the amount of activity and hours of protection. But, you can normally double our price to your subscriber.
